Hey!  i've gotta great story.  I started to jump last week!  It was so awsome. My horse is the best at jumping.  He goes easy on me now, but soon we'll be jumping like crazy!  If u haven't started jumping yet, get to it soon!  It's an amazing experience and a memory that will last forever!  Thanks for lettin me tell my story!

Hey Andi I have a word for you. Methods. Methods are stuff you do with your horse that help you and your horse bond. Well If the horse is refusing jumps it may be that the jump is too high for it. Or its just scared to jump.

Has it had any fear of falling while jumping a jump in the past? If it keeps doing this join-up with it. [you need alongline] That means  you flick the longline in an arena or gate so itwill canter.  Keep it going around in a circle. Then when the horse starts looking like its chewing the air. Then drop the longline, but your head down, turn around, and wait. Wait for the sound of hooves to stop, wait for hooves slowly walking to you.

If the horse touches your shoulder of any other part. Then walk any direction [you really should walk straight] If the horse follows you thats good because it means its put its trust in you. Then walk around for a little then turn around and pet the horse. Then try to jump. It might not refuse this time. Hope it works!!! Bye.

I began riding at the young age of two.The first time I ever rode a horse by myself.I was instantly engulfed in the horse world.From riding to the horse. I was mezmerized by how everything worked. I recieved my first horse at the age of four. I was very excited. He was a four year old paint quarter horse and I had named him Patches.We did everything together...explored together,walk together, and somtimes I'd even bring my lunch and eat with him.Patches and I were inseperable........but then came the accident.

I was riding Patches inthe early evening during the summer so it would be cooler on him and me.I was wearing my jumping helmet riding him bareback with only a leadrope.My dad's friend pulled into the barn with her nieces and nephewsin the bed of her truck.There was close to five of them.Patches,ofcourse, got a little nervous. She continued to pull the truck up beside us.She reeved the engine and that was enough for Patches.He rearedtrying to strike at the thing. Everyone says his one priority was toprotect me.I fell unde him and he stopped completly.He stood theretrembling afraid he was going to step on me.

Two weeks later my dad's boss sold him and said that he was a troublemaker and despite what he did he would eventually result in an injury or even a death.
I now have three quarter horses,one miniture pony, and thrity-five race horses.

Greetings! everyone. My name  is cup cake, I am a roan arabian mare. A horse's life has many values therefore, we must be treated with care. Though I am only of 6 months, I've been through many things and I am desprete to tell you.

           when I was only 2 weeks old, I was weaned from my dear mother. I heard she died weeks after. After I was taken away, I was put in a small group of horses. these horses were not well-manered. they were very violent with no common sense. One day, while I was playing alone,and I heard somewhat of an explosion, then three men appeared onthe other side of the field holding guns, and a dead hare by it 'stail. Everything turned quite bloody afterwards. I was the only one who survived. but thats what they got for acting like hooligins.

              I was one my own now, with nobody, not even my mother to protect me. That is how I became badly tempered. luckily, at four months, I had become very fond of the wild and was able to protect myself.

                    One unlucky day, a fancy woman was walking through the forest when she spotted me. I thought it was my lucky day because she decided to take me home but I was horrible! she was very abusive using a whip everytime I wasn't fast enough leaving scars on my poor body. It wasn't the scar that hurt though, It was the memories that would tanght me reminding me of the worst times.

             One day, Mrs. Fancy,(may I call her) kept on whipping me nonstop thinking I was a engine who never got tired. I got so fed up with it I puposly whinnied as loud as I could so the police would come(quite dumb) but nobody came. so for my own sake, I got on my hind legs and her sweaty, ugly hands slowley slipped off my poor back.

                   " neigh!" I was exsausted and needed a rest soI took a horse-nap for an hour than headed for the train tracks. But I got caught by a child. I thought it would be the same as mrs.Fancy, but she had  a gentle voice that lead me to this stable.

                      Beatrice R. age ,12 is my current owner and best yet. she said when I turn 3, I'll be in competitions,she also said I am the best horse ever! ditto to you Beatrice!

            the change in my life was enormous and I am thankful for that. thats about it, alot for six months. Huh?!! but there is still more to cme in my life. I wish you the best!

Annie farts sometimes when she trots.  It's really funny.  I start trotting Annie and then she starts farting.    I've only been riding for 1year and 7 months.  I've fallen off twice in the first year.  None in the second.

hello clip clop club!

 I started riding when I was 7, in Holland. I lived in holland for 2 yrs because of my dads job. I'm american though. Now I am 11. throughout those 4 yrs I have learned a lot and have leased a horse too!!!! Her name was chippy and I leased her for a yr. Great mare, but we soon found out that she was lame!!!

My mom and I protested that she should get treatment but didnt....... later in that yr we had another shocker! she was pregnant! chippy would soon give birth to a foal! but this surprise didnt come free.  The owner of the stable told us that we could no longer lease her becuase of her pegnancy! so we left thestable.

now i ride english at a barn called J-mar stables and riding all diffrent ponies! We're even thinking about leasing again!YYYYEEEEHHHHHAAAA!!!!!!!

HI my name is Taylor and i am living the dream I actually get to live on the farm where my horse is boarded. Me and my family get to care for over 20 horses and they all are right out side my window. I always get to see my horse Snow White every day. She is a Quarter horse crossed with a Percheron. So she is huge and the sweetest thing ever weare the best pair ever and she is very fast for a tall barrel horse .

On my first lesson I got on my horse Angle and I alomost cried because I felt like I was going to fall because at Angels rear it seemed to be moving out of place. On my forth lesson I got use to the felling me ,Miss. Denies and Angel were very happy!!!!!

So i have this pony. Her name is  Party. I was ridding her bareback in the field (around dinner time) and it was getting dark.Then I heard coyotes howling and I got scared. I started galloping to the back to the barn. All of the sudden Iooked back and there was the whole pack of coyotes were about a 300 feet in the dictence. When we got back to the barn, I didn't tell anyone, i didn't want them thinking i could never back in the field.

Embarrassing Riding Moment:

It was my first riding lesson. My aunt and I were going with a group for a lesson on how to ride a horse in rough terrain. At this point, i knew nothing about horses except that i loved them. While i was getting to know 'my' horse, Ghost, we were also walking to the gate of the forest. i ended up in the back, talking to Ghost and stroking her muzzle. My auntie was in front of me. i didn't watch were i was walking (and leading Ghost, too!) and i stopped right behind my aunt's ornery mare, CrabApple. Then i was six inches short of a horseshoe mark on my forehead! When i looked around (after backing up several feet) i realized everyone had seen it! After that, i always check what's in front of me (and which horse is too).

well my dad works at a feed yard and raises cattle. and my old horse we sold to the feed yard and i always used to go  visit her then one day i went out there and there was this new horse they had her in a seperate pen because she was not trained yet. but i went into her pen and she let me ride her bareback!!! i saw her everyday. but then one day i came and she was gone. my dad said she was in the field but i came back in a month and she was still gone they had sold because she was to much of a kid horse to work in a feedyard

i ride at a barn called noahs ark and i used to ride a chesnut appoloosa named dip n, dot, he is awsome! well one day my trainer put me on the lundge line and told me to put the reins on the saddle and let go and just practice on other stuff besides directing the horse,well i did and then the saddle started slipping to the left and i fell off and this was my first time falling off so i was shocked and scared,but this is my story !!!

One day me and my father and some freinds were trail riding on a horse name Harley. And we told him to WALK over a log and he jumped! (i was in front) and i hit my head on the horn then is started rubbing on trees and that hurt my leg so i was real busted up.

i love to ride horses i have a morgan jumper hes the foal of peperment time. one of the best morgan jumpers in history. i love him so much and we usualy win in the jumper ring. hes pne of the best horses ever and i love him so much. his show name is powered by adrenaline/ j bar bill bailey but on the farm he goes by bailey. in his first years of showing he went national champion along side lance or little red corvet. i love him to death and his foals, before he was gelded he had two foals and they also are expected to go champion as well.

One time,my friend,Keybee and I were riding home through the woods when I saw a plastic bag next to the trail.I was not thinking very clearly then, LOL, and I wanted to pick up the bag to get rid of the litter. I told Keybee to ride ahead on her horse,Grace, and I would catch up.I got off Tara(my horse)and while holding on to the reigns, I slowly started to pick up the plastic bag.

Well Tara didn't like that very much and I think I let go for the reigns for a second and she spooked and ran off. I dropped the plastic bag and ran after her.

Meanwhile, Keybee and Grace were up ahead on the other side of thebushes so they didn't see Tara coming and Grace spooked a little. Tara still kept going, running out of the woods onto the road towards my house. Well,when I emerged from the woods, Grace really spooked and bucked causing Keybee to fall off and hit a tree and the barbed wirefence that ran next to the trail. (Grace was long gone running after Tara) I helped Keybee up and we both ran after the horses.(Well Keybeewas sort of waddling,I was running) We eventually caught up to them. They had both run to Grace's house.

Well the moral of my TRUE storyis that if you see some litter on the side of the road or trail whileyou are riding, just come back later on your bike. LOL

This is Keybers here with once in a life time STORY!! one day i was out with my best friend abby SHES cool at least she was till she nocked me OFF MY HORSE!!!!!!!!!!!! we Troting through the woods then BABOOM!!!

there was a BIG hole in the ground so i went off to get a sign to point out to the other riders that there is a hole . so im goin through to get it when i here a SCREAM then a horse running down the trail witch was Tara (abby's horse) so i panicked and ran down the trail with my horse Grace THEN out of nowhere heres Abby running out of the bushes which spooked my horse so ya i fell on a tree then a fence landed on a ROCK right on my tail bone then broke my cell phone!! sad storey i know!

One day we went to the Expo to ride him,but when we got there we noticed that we left the crop at home. I think you know how that ride went. Sweetie Pie is a Palomino mare with a White Blaze on her forehead she is15.3HH and is 6 years old. I love her soooooooooooooo much.

I do  English & I am learning Western.

I also Have 3 Dogs: Baby, Smilely, Justin  2 Females & 1 male.
Baby: is a  Pure German Sheperd. She is  3 months old. She is Brown & Black & is adorable.

Smiley is Her mom. Smiley is a Pure German same color as baby.
Justin is Baby's Dad. Same thing as all my dogs.  He got neutered the other day and so did Smiley well she got spayed.

I have 1 cat Princess is a 6 year old siameese cat.

Hey i have been riding since i was 3 and i am now 16!

my horse is a 16hh Chestnut gelding who is called Sofisio he was an ex-racer and at the moment i am re schooling him for dressage and jumping!he has a huge jump and sometimes gets scary! together we jump 3metres and he likes to go higher which gets frustrating but is in a way good because we always clear the jump! He is the best horse ever and i love him sooooo much! LOVE YOU SOFISIO!!!! haha xx

Hi,I'm Braelyn.I have come to tell you about my horse.Her name is Texas Star Ramona. She is a quarter horse.I was riding in the field when she started to buck.When I grabbed the reigns and tried to pull the reigns up,I lost control of the horse. Before I realized it,I was inthe air, 20 feet, head first, going  over  Star's  head. I suddenly hit theground with a THUD!! I landed on my head!!!!! Ok, yeah i wanted Big Brown to win. but part of the reason he didn't is his jockey was pulling him up. you could see if you watched closely. (i'm a big racing fan i know alot of signals.) at the gate, big brown stumbled, because during practice he had hurt his leg,and coming out of the gate in the middle he was just surounded. so usually even when they're hurt, race horses wanna run super fast, and he could've, but once they got to the stretch, (right before he dropped from third) he was limpin, and running. So the jockey pulled him up, sohe sorta ran on three legs, but he wasn't supposed to do his best. hecame in last and Da' Tara won. Big Brown was gorgeous but Da' Tara was really pretty too!

One time I was riding my grandpas horse. Its a black mare named Velvet. Shes a sweety...well only when you have an apple or carrot!

Anyways, Velvet isnt fully trained yet, so my Dad has to lead me around. And my sister bribes her with carrots. Well one time my sister dropped the carrot and Velvet started to gallop away and my Dad let go of the lead rope! She went flying after it, and I was just bouncing around in te saddle, holding on with all my might. It was pretty funny.

And now, every time before I get on Velvet I ask my Dad is hes gonna hold on this time. He just rolls his eyes. :D

Hello!! Here is my true story!!

I was riding my 3 year old  Palomino Gelding on the  Trail for the 3rd time he has been ridden there was a  racoon, and a chipmunk running Around the trails! Runner my Palomino Reared up and Bucked 6 times. I stayed on Though.

He just got spooked.
I now have 3 Horses

~*Runner*~ is a   3 year old Palomino Gelding.

~*Jasmine*~ is a  5 year  old Friesian mare.

~* Rhode Runner*~ is a 10 year old Palomino Gelding. He is Runner's Dad!!

Well one day I had Bree tied to a tree and something spooked she fell back. And we were on a hill and itwent up then down. And she hert her hind knees!

Guess what?!?? My aunt Marys Dog's

Chas , Bill, Maggie, Moe  ate pills!!!

Well one or all of them did. I went to the "Doctor Hart's animal emerginces center with her. They had to get they stomach Pumted.

So My mom came to.  Poor Chas ate the most.

Chas and the other dog's half to get there Kidney's flushed out so that they dont  have Kiidney Faliure!!!

She had to leave them there for the night & I didn;t get home to 1:02 A.M.! I was so tired.

Well remember to put all Pills and  stuff that could  leave to faliure in a safe place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi tessa! does anyone like this poem? it is about a Przewalski's horse. The are the last true wild horses.

Their sweet smell fills my nose,

And I do suppose,

If all was lost, if all was gone,

The Przewalski's Horse would still stand strong.

The wind sends their manes flapping

It sounds like a fight where people are slapping.

Or like a snoring man napping.

The determined look in their eye,

And their beauty, it makes me want to sigh.

Their sweet breath scatters my hair across my face,

In this zoo, they look so out of place!

Almost gone because loss of their habitat,

And hunting, poaching and things like that.

It saddens me that no one is aware

That the brave little Przewalski's Horse is even there!

If more people knew, and tried to help,

Instead, they are as oblivious as swaying kelp.

Their grace takes my breath away,

And I'll keep it for another day.

That sweet, soft tinkling neigh,

Oh, I do not know what to say!

Though I have never met one for real,

I have come to think it would be ideal.

hey guys this is my story!

I ride a pony named Trisket a strawberry roan mare.one day we were going over some small jumps at a trot. Trisket all most hit herself on the side of the jump and she bolted into a canter!

I dident have much time to ajust so my feet fell out of the sirups and i fell aroun half an inch from the fence n Trisket game me a look like"What are yu doing dwn there las tme i checked you were on me!"

when I first rode him( I take horse riding and

I met him there) I fell off because a plane

a car and a horsefly bit into him and he

started running and so i fell off!!

and i think 14 hh and i ride bare back

but i think western is the best because

engilsh saddles are hard to get on and

to neat but western witch is a real saddle

I have been riding englidh for 6 years now.

When I was in Pony Camp I rode western but  I

Never wered any bad things like spurs, or sharp stuff. My stable loves there ponies!

But I honestly prefer english because its more challenging because it doesn't Have a horn and I Like to not hold on.

My Fave sport is Show Jumping & Dressage.

Though I've never did Jumping....

So She is breaking that commandment.

So i'd say if she is gonna be rude and sassy to you and unfriendly stand up for your self and tell her that was rude and not needed to be said.

I got this new horse that was so good until we started feeding it.You see she was very skinny,I mean you could see her rib bones and everything. After we started feeding her she got bad. I went to go playwith her[by the way Storm is an Appolosa,Arabian and a QuarterHorse.]

one day and she reared and buked,she just got my heel.We did everything evan a ''Horse Whisper'' but nothing helped, it was because she was so skinny before so we sold her to a friend so she useally comes and lets us pet her and stuff. Shelly[the person who bought her]is a little more better rider than I am so she does not have any problems with her.
