I have been riding for almost 8 years and until last year i have never fallen off. My friends were always like u need to fall off and to tell u the truth i was sick off everyone telling me, so i just wanted to fall off to get everyone to stop telling me i needed to.

So, one day i couldn't ride my horse in my lesson b/c she had an eye problem that would make her eyes swell shut so i couldn't ride her, so i rode one of the school horses. I have ridden this horse before ands he is really hyper and bucks sometimes but usually a good horse, so i was expecting a pretty good lesson. So she was doing pretty good but when we got to the jumping part she gets really excited and wants to go really fast, so i have to try to make her go slow. So we were coming up to a straight and i have jumped them with her before but this jump was the highest i have ever jumped her but i have jumped it before so if elt pretty confident.

We were going towards the jump and all the sudden she slams on the breaks and i go flying over the jump. When i got up all my friends were cheering and i was laughing b/c i had finally fallen off. So i got back on and went to go do it again and this time she flew to the left and i went flying into the standard and it hurt real bad. Now i was happy i fell off the first time but the second time i was ok what's going on and it kinda hurt, so i got back on and my instructor just told me to go over an x and call it a day. I was a little embarressed b/c i couldn't get her to go over but i really didn't care b/c i had finally fallen off. Ever since that day i haven't fallen off. (Knock on Wood)

hi everyone. I`m new to this website, so let me tell you about myself. I have five horses. Their names are Jango, Daffodil, Pepper,Rascal, and Sundae.
Jango is a two year old bay gelding. He isn`t exactly mine. I`m really just horse-sitting him for my cousin Nellie while she`s away at boarding school.

Daffodil is a four year old palomino mare. She was abused as a foal, but we adopted her.

Pepper isa fourteen year old appaloosa stallion. He`s old but really spunky andfull of spirit.

Rascal is an eight year old chesnut gelding.My cousin Amy shows him a lot because she doesn`t have a horse, so I don`t see him very often.

Triple Fudge Sundae is my three year old black and bay pinto. I usually show her the most. She is so cute. If you want to be pals, write me. See ya!!!!!!!

OKay who watched the Kid's Choice Awards?? I did!! It was awsome!!! I went to my friends house to sleep over for it. Then we watched the cutting edge 3.

But the morning was the most eventful!!!!Her sister started weazing and could barely breath all of a sudden and her mom called 911!!! Me and my friend were so freaked out!! Before the people got here we went into her room and she has a bunk bed and the ladder fell and bumped her in the face. So they both got hurt!! But luckily her little sister is fine (they think it was an allergic reaction to something in this toy she was sucking on).

And i'm back at home. Scary though huh? By the way it snowed over night!!! A lot melted but somes here. Its almost april omg!! By the way is anyone doing any good pranks for april fools day? I need some more ideas!!! ttyl

{ The site looked a lot different- very pink and girly girl I guess. I still like the design of the old site but since I was taking it over 24/7 I decided it needed a fresh coat of paint. I also never replied to diary submissions. Those are the 2 main differences I think. Maybe the girls who visited before can say more about what they like better now? :) }

OMIGOD!! I forgot!!!!!!! My horse!!!! It turns out it was a stallion!!! I named it Dilly Dew!! What do u think of the name everyone?

I named him Dilly: when we got him he played around and dillydalleyed, sniffing things.
And Dew: it was dewwy the morning we picked him up and he licked at it. and hes gonna be a daddy!!! My neighbors mare is having twins!!! She said i could keep one!!! weee so happy!!!But after that were getting him gelded.

Hello My name is Patrica! I just got a horse yesterday, and before that I rhode her in lessons. She is pregnet she is supposed to foal in 8 months. They sold her because they did not want to  breed anymore. She is 5 years old. I ride english and  western I have more expeirience with english though. I do w/t/c in english and I dow/t/c/g in western, sorry about that I ment to say I have more expeirience in western, I do barrels, and dressage, and show jumping, I am also training for Pole bending.

I am 12 years old. My mares name is Sophie. She is a black TB mare. Are best barrel time was 14,3 seconds we won that day! We won 50,000 grand! And thats how we built our own Huge 5 stall barn with a huge pasture. Thats how I got my mare I got her for 300$ as a closeout price which is good. I hope her kid is a boy as I always wanted a trsil gelding! I also do trail riding Sophie does not spook. I read the past Diaries Marissa a Forums a good Idea and Megan and Everyone sounds nice here! Ok i know a while back i said i had nothing to do with boys? well *sigh* i was wrong. I'm no where near ready to have a real crush (except movie stars ; )) but apparently i heard from my guy friend, (just a friend!!) that a guy i totally hate hes such a jerk(Madi you should know who this is already but i'll clarify: Dylan) has a major crush on me!! Like he thinks im cute!!! I dont believe it cuz we had somthin goin on in first grade but its so over at how he treats people normally and i told him that we could be tiny bit friends but not crushes but he just got worse so now not even tiny friends. But he has been acting kinda strange. Marissa you've probably had this problem what should i do? Leslie do you know what i should do? By the way really talking to him isn't an option cuz i talked to him at a party and i asked were just friends right? (cuz i couldnt be mean and that just wasnt the time) and he said yes but he had a little grin and then the next day thats when my guy fried said it so im confused!! please help!!!

Ok i while back , i was riding my Pony "king", We were doing awesome until he just PLOPPED down to roll, At first i had no clue what was going on t'il i hear my mom "Kim jump off he is going to roll"!! so i got off then he started to roll.... After my ride we put him back in the shelter and he rolled 25 times along with my other 3 horses! at first i was scared and thought he was going to squish me but after i was laughing really hard!

I love horses so much! They are the most amazing thing i have ever seen! I don't own a horse but i like to ride all the time. My uncle has my horse up in Idaho. I go up there every summer to help out around the barn. My dream is to be a professional jockey. I just love to go faster than anyone else. That is why my horses name is Seabiscut! He is part Quater horse, part Tennessee Walker. His color is a Zebra Buckskin. i wish i could see him every minute of everyday! i miss him so much! Kimberly & Chloe
We have never falling off of a horse before but our friend Lindsay has.One day, we were riding our horses in the trail. We were doing fine t'il  mouse ran across the path. Our horses all got spooked out and took of as fast as ever! Lindsay lost both of her stirrups and started to slip off. While we were galloping we heared a "THUMP" and noticed she had falling off.

We were ahead of her so we pulled our rein's to slow down our horses to a stop. We got off our horses and walked over to see her. We could see the tears going down her face so we new something was wrong. She keeped on saying "Ouch my arm" so we knew it was broken. Chloe got back on her horse and cantered back to the house to tell Lindsay's mother what happend while i stayed with Lindsay to try to calm her down.

About five minutes later Lindsay's mom was at her side. She had saddled up one of the horses from the barn and rode behind Chloe to were Lindsay's accendent had happend. Lindsay's mom had put Lindsay in front of the saddle and rode home leaving me and Chloe to bring back Lindsay's horse.  When we got home Chloe and I rode back to our house.

Five hours later we had gotten a call from Lindsay's mom saying her arm wasnt to bad so they were allowed to go home. We went to go visit her and we saw her new purple and pink cast with a horse shoe on it. She had asked us to sign it so we put our names and wrote a little message.

About five months later we had asked her to come riding again. She had lost all her confidence and did not want to go riding.  We had told her about how much fun we used to have riding so she gave it another chance. Soon enough our LuckyLindsay was winning those 1st place ribbens and medals again. This is a story i will never forget!

I dont have a horse, but I would love to. My favorite horse is an Arabian-Saddlebred named Midnite, and I ride every chance I get. My whole family has grown up around horses and I love horses more than anyone else in the world! I have a unbroken relationship with horses and they are awesome to me. Hey everyone! I like western and english equally Lilly, but I have been riding english. Both of the saddles, and bridles are different and they are each hard to learn to ride in. I would never were spurs though. I also don't think it makes them sweat,any saddle would in the summer time.

I love Hanna Montannas song I dont think about it! We did the living stations today, and it was boring,but it was ok i guess. Anyway Sydney Sandy is doing great! So is all the horses at rocky river!! I  LOVE PEDRO! HES AT MY FRIENDS BARN,WELLA  BARN DOWN THE STREET FROM HER! HE IS A LITTLE DONKEY AND IS 1 YEAR OLD HE IS SOOOOOO CUTE! Hi & boy do I have a story for you. One day I was looking for my 2 year old Quarter horse mare, I could not find her and thought she was in the back barn with the other horses.

Our neighber up the road came fling down the road, & said is that your horse over there? I looked over were she was pointing

& could not see a thing so I said were? And about that time I seen a head pop up from the ground. She was tangled in a barbwire fence. I was so scared I called my dada and asked him what to do. He said call Doc Nemes and ask him to come over and look at her. I called the vet and he came over as fast as he could.

We got her up and everything, got her doctered, and she is all better. Now she is a happy 3 year old mare. (with a baby on the way)

It makes mesooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo mad how schools don't treat horses and other animals as equals!!! And it's not just pioneer!! It's everything!!! We don't learn about animals in science, they don't have pet day anymore at school (because the  new principal doesn't want those stinky drooly over-sized rats in her school in her words).

I got a beautiful bay Arabian gelding last year in June. He is 8years old and his best friend is St.Nick his pasture buddy who is a large Thoroughbred. By the way his name is Stormy. Sadly I can't ride him yet becuase he was a rescued horse. We got him from an auction and if we haden't bought him he would have gone to the slaughter house!! Hei s so sweet though. He is also getting very close to being ridden.Maybe we will be showing by next year!!

his previous owners neglected him and kept him behind there yard after his raceing accedent with no health care. i take lessons. im in the 4-H,and i helpout with theripudic rideing. i show in huntter jumpper, cross country and dressage.

i have been around horses my whole life and am fasinated by them! flawless is doing great and we trail ride and have so much fun oveisly i cant work him to hard because of his leg but i can train and practice on other horses at my stables. when it is time for flawless to pass away at least i know he was cared for once in his life

once i went out in the field on a sunny day to get my horse reo,a 8 year old arabin gelding, when i walked up to him i heard a voice behind me it was my mom.  Reo was starteled by the voice and bucked but unlucklily i was right behind him with a deep groan i fell to the ground and hit my head on the hey bail.

the next thing i knew i was lying on the ground in cold sweat my favorite horse in the barn bizara my friend evas horse saw me lying there and ran to the gate. He knew something was wrong my mom had left to go fetch my other horse ,sonny,and was way out in the other field anyway bizara galloped to the gate and pawed and neighed and tried to jump the fence but didn't sucseed.

Finally, dawn, a girl who was riding and had just brought her horse in heard the commotion and ran to bizara she calmed him down and ran to me.she stood me up i was leaned over holding my stomach i couldn't breath and the next thing i knew i was being rushed to the er in an ambulance.

After i recovered and i was able to ride again i went out to the barn and dawn told me how bizara had saved my life (if no one would have found me at the time dawn came in i would've died at leist thats what the doctor said).

wow i thought to myself i thought dawn had saved my life but now i know who the real hero is bizara i ran to hi paddock and unlocked and flung open the gate i gave him a big kiss and took him for the longest sweetest trail ride you could ever imagine.THE END

I was once on a trail ride with my 4 year old bay Thoroughbred gelding, Chronology, and my riding instructor Jill, and her her 6 year old chestnut Thoroughbred gelding, Harry. The trail ride was awesome!We jumped a fallen tree, then there was a puddle(my horse is scared of them), then that led right to the back of the barn.

Well, since Ollie wouldn't go through the puddle(Ollie is my horse's nickname), we had to go back through the whole trail. Jill was ahead at first, but Ollie wanted to trot so I let him. There was a tiny stream that Ollie could have just stepped over, but he decided to jump it instead. After tha the got a little carried away and took off at a mad gallop. I stayed on easily, and it was almost fun, until I realized he wasn't gonna stop.Then I panicked!

I stayed on through the whole trail, then as we approached the dirt and non-busy road he started to slow down. Then,without hesitation, he jumped a 4ft wide ditch on the side of the road.It caught me off guard, so I fell off, unfortunantly face-first. My instructer said he was going at least 40mph, since Harry was galloping as fast as he could and couldn't get even 5 yards behind him. But,that's what I get from having a 4 year old off the track Thoroughbred I guess!

English tack is not as heavy as westen. This helps a horse preform well, and their energy last for a longer time.
The english gaits are easy to pick up and do not need to be masterd.

I love all my horses they are 10 mares and 5 geldings. I am only 9 years old so sorry if i did not spell the breeds correctly. Are black mustang is a mare. We decided to name her Flicka. She is 10 years old. She is bombproof and in foal.Well bye!

It seems like only two people are caring about me, but i have been in the hospital for almost 6 weeks now. I had one of my kidneys removed! Like anyone cares though!

Oldenburg, Westphalian, Irish Draught, Dutch warmblood,Don,Budenny. My fave is sport who is the Irish Draught he is such a sweet heart! He is a competitor. I LOVE to event him!

I am a girl!  My parents own 1000 anchors of land and we have 40 horses! We also have 15 donkeys,and 12 mules, and we also have 12 goats and 14 sheep. We have 25 rabbits.

We own a rescue center, and its also a petting farm for local neighbors/or travelers. We have 2 ducklings as well as 12 geese. We also have a exotic animal rescue and we have 2 baby crocidiles who will be released when old, and 4 pythins(EW!) and a bearded dragon. Its not a local place its just when people notice it, and We have over 59 horse stalls still available!

We also do pony rides for kids who come here.I am 11 years old. I love my horses and ponies! My fave horse is a gelding name Honey he is 12 years old He loves trail riding! He is a lepeard appaloosa! I love him to death my parents rescued him from a abandoned barn, and he was extremly under weight! I dont spell very well:(. 

My fave pony is Twilight a 11 year old blue roan pony mare, I go on short trail rides with her. But I love all of my animals equally accept the exotics! Are oldest horse is a 32 year old Pony gelding named Spike, and he is currently sick from colic and is in the equine vet care please say a prayer that he makes it. Spike was not a rescue he was my first horse.I started riding when i was a baby a year old, and ,my mother leaded meon him. He is a shetland he was 21 when we got him for me. He is my fave gelding! No one can replace him! Sparkle a quater horse mare is going to a loving home tommerow getting adopted please say a prayer that they will love her as we did. Also are only stallion who is 18 and bombproof is being leased off farm please say a prayer that they may adopt him.

I love all of them and hope they find wonderful farms to graze everyday like ours.I want them to make friends and some of the mares mate with there males and have precious babies. I am sorry for making such a long entry well ttyl message me if you want to befriends! Well bye love Alex!

I love horses! I own a 5 year old canadian horse mare. She is a very big responsibility for a 9 year old(me). She is kidsafe as she was professionally broke when she was younger. She is a rare horse,and strange looking but beuatiful. She is  brown with black spots. But she spooks of cameras otherwise I would try to put a picture up in your gallery, and I looked through there,and Megan, Clifford is cute! Is he yours? i was riding a horse named king bareback.  and my teacher said to canter .  so i did.i got so scared the horse started getting faster[like king could tell my mind]but finaly i got the courage to let go of the mane and slow down the horse

I need some advice. Triton (my buckskin stallion) has been acting up lately. He refuses to jump a lot and he tried to buck me the other day. I need help! Also, I need some training tips for Carrot Cake. Any advice? TTYL!

Hi guys, sorry I haven`t written in a while. I`ve been so busy!The show on Sunday went well and Dancer did perfectly.I gave her a hug from all of you before the show and the good luck worked!

We didn`t win best in show but we did place first in the walk and trot class, second in the hunter class, and fourth in the dressage
demonstation class!

But the best part was after the show! My parents bought me a horse! She is a buckskin two year old filly and she has a white star on her forehead. Her name is Carrot Cake. I love her!!!!!!!!!!! She is anyones horse that is part of the Clip Clop Club. I`ll give her a carrot from all of you guys! TTYL!!!!!!!!

Hi Im Lily. I'm nine years old, and I own a horse named: Cake's Delight she is a 5 year old mare. She is a TB mare off the track and she is a blue roan. She has gorgeous blue eyes and actually her coat(fur)is with black spots! She is very rare because of her color. She is gorgeous she won showmanship for best coat! 

She is preganet she is supposed to foal Tom. She is going to have a great little son or daughter.

Does anyone have any names?

I will tell you what he looks like,and I'm staying home tommerow to watch her foal or get a first look at it. She rides western, english, bareback, and she was broke for side saddle but I never tried that. I love galloping in my HUGE arena or pasture on her she neck reins and reins perfectly! She is bombproof.
